Do you guys like this icon (minus the "gary green" watermark)? I am currently developing a kids game for ipad and iphone and I decided to take a break from it for a little while and develop an icon. I will be posting more pictures on the game but I wanted some feedback on the icon.

If you don't like, what would you change?

    is he on Mars?

    I would use a nice deep blue gradient and maybe a bit of greenery in the background...

    but it definitely looks like a kids game.

    number two is better.

    Here's an idea. I find it eye catching when the main subject appears to be coming out at you. This seems to be best achieved by making a thicker border and having the top of giraffe image overlap the border. So the neck is behind the border at the bottom but above the border at the top. Just something to try.

    Blue is better.
    Although I like the red one too :-)

    Look for theory of colors. Red is always agressive. People don't want to click on soemthing, that makes them agressive.... i think :-)
