are you taking about the actual application? close it down and reopen it. Does it say logout in the bottom right? If so, click on it. it will change to login. I had to logout and back in when i first opened it for it to load my details

Well that's just fantastic. My freaking display is to small to see all the way to the bottom right. GS I need to be able to make it fit on a 1064x600 display right now. I could see it all before. please make it visible again.

So GS head chiefs. Any way to work around this issue. I realize your probably not very concerned since i would imagine i am only one of maybe a few people this affects. But i need to go back to 0.89 if there is no way around this. I promise i will buy a mac with a bigger screen if my app actually sells, But for now with your update it killed my possibility of publishing and i am so close to submitting for review.

We are looking into your issue. I hadn't replied yet because I didn't have an answer. Technically I still don't, but I'm answering anyway :) We are considering the issue right this moment.

Ok so the older version of gamesalad doesn't let me publish because it doesn't recognize my account. Am I being forced to publish with the new version now? Any one else having this problem?

When opening the new version, it just says welcome Guest and the profile says Ooops it's missing?

Needless to say, none of the Pro features are available when editing.

    ?

@ TechnoDave - a post a while back said the update would kill older versions. Yodapollo i think had said depending on issues with the release they will consider opening 0.89 back up to use as well. I'm hoping so because of my issues.

@ azimpact - I'm told there is somewhere in a bottom right corner a log off login button you will have to use and close and reopen and all that to get your account to load into the update. glad im not the only one who could find that. LOL I cant see it though so maybe that will help you.

WHAT!! The update killed my old gamesalad 8.9.0 and now I am left with 0.9.0 which isn't even a pro account??? I am forced to use a splash screen, and 0.9.0 isn't even publishing at all right now. WTF????

    1064x600 resolution?

    is this a real mac?

Yeah sorry it wasn't Yoda that said it but heres the post. it was adent42. he goes on to say on page 2 he will work on legacy publishing if there is a demand

I would rather use use 0.90 but im not a Pro at this time so that doesn't really affect me the same as you. I do plan on upgrading once this is worked out.

We'll just say it's My only option to use OSX. I was raised and sheltered from Macs my whole life but now that i have experienced OSX for Myself my next buy will be a macbook pro. Sorry if that offends anyone. I dont think it should be an issue though as everything worked in the previous versions for me.

Fair enough, I guess I missed that! But what's pissing me off is that 0.9.0 won't even publish an iPhone app. It will publish strait to the mac but not the iPhone. What is going on here!?!

give it a few hours or wait till morning. there were some publishing problems earlier that they are probably still working on. they will get that resolved asap, I can't imagine it not being their number 1 priority.

I guess I just wanted to know if the problem is with my comp or their system. But I guess no one else has tried to publish an app for the iPhone yet?

its their system, if it was your comp, you wouldn't be able to publish anything.

Thanks for the help. But I am not 100% what it is. Because it seam to want to publish everything ok, but when I use the distribution profile I get nothing. I can't imagine their servers care which profile I use.
