It should work just fine, but I haven't tried it yet as I need to buy an apple account. If you can pass code-signing, then I don't see why it can't work. There is another alternative if for some bizarre reason that you can't get code-signing to work on VMWare, however, that involves bad stuff and I believe you need a jail-broken iPhone.
Anyway, at the moment, I am running a vmware image of Snow Leopard and using that to not only make my GameSalad games but also have been stress-testing GameSalad as in terms of multiple actors. :P I'm also doing this on a Toshiba Tecra A11 which was never meant for anything that involves graphics.
I can't connect the iPhone gs viewer to the gs creator , is that the macosx run in vmware recognize the network as wired, not wifi network ,so the gs viewer not work?
I run gamesalad in a mac vm, you have to go into virtual network editor (vmware 7.1) and set it up for your network adapter on your host. Then set it bridged in the mac vm's settings. Once you do this the mac should grab an IP from DHCP and work with gs viewer.
It shouldn't matter if the mac is on wired or wireless as long as its on the same network as your iphone / ipod / ipad it will work.
