Play Sound vs. Play Music

Based on your experiences what is more performing for small files (between 1 and 3 seconds long)? Is better a Play Sound behavior with an ogg or a Play music behavior with aac?

    Play music is supposed to just be for the background music. It keeps playing even if you change scenes, etc. You can play/pause it, etc..

    Play Sound is for sound effects.
    That is what you should use.

    another thing to think about, you can play multiple sounds at once, but only one music file.

    Thanks, I did some experiments and on the iPhone sounds run better than music.
