Blurring My Image

Hey there, I have an image that is 480x137, but when I set an actor to the image and set the image mode to fixed, it acts as if the image is 400x100.55 (which isn't even possible. And then when I set the actor size to 480x137 and do stretched, it would usually look fine since it is the dimensions of the image, but it looks extremely blurred.

Any suggestions?

    make sure it's saved as 72DPI, if you use Photoshop choose Save for Web & Devices instead of just save, or use the free Pixen, that'll save at 72DPI on it's own.
