i have 8.4 (havent got snow leopard yet.. going to in january tho) and i'm trying to wrap a certain object (actor) so that it loops as it scrolls., a looping bg. like "cave run" in the app store and all these other "running" games.

thing is, 8.4 only has wrapping in the SCENE attributes, sand not actors. is this even possible or added in 9.0?

i'm asking because i only want a certain layer (actor) in the background looping. so when i check the "wrap x axis" box, EVERYTHING loops... creating an orgy os actors (ew). so....yea... can i add the wrap feature to individual actors in 9.0 or 8.4 for that matter?

You really should get .9, you won't be able to publish, and odds are coming from a version that old you going to have a ton of problems when you get to .9

to create a loop, i think you have to do it manually, when i do it, i have two images moving in one direction, when the first one reaches a certain point, i move it to the other side, so on and so forth, so it gives the illusion of a looping background.
