Making an app start to finish

I know how long it takes me to make an app, but I was curious how long it takes everyone else. So please tell.

    I've seen many people post that they've made a game in a day.. others take longer.

    It's certainly true that you can get a game done very quickly with GameSalad.

    Typically, my games take a couple of months to make from start to finish. It's hard to tell sometimes because I have several projects on the go at the same time usually.

    Additionally, I re-use stuff where I can to cut down dev time. For example, Gravitrixx and Kraken code can be re-used to make similar, or sometimes very different, games.

    Making my first game ever (no other dev experience), and working hard in my part time (and by part time I mean all my free time), my first game will be done hopefully within a week putting me at almost 3 months.

    Thanks! Hopefully soon (depending on how much sleep I allow myself haha!). Here is what I have so far...
