There are many others that are excellent, but these two sort of stuck with me. I'm sorry, I don't remember the member's who created these.

Really kinda depends on what you want to use to qualify as best game overall.
There are really good games like mini cannon and running wild that don't seem to do very well but then a simple game like doodle destroy does nearly 1million downloads (thats mostly free not paid)
Attack of the Kraken - QuantumSheep Gravitrixx - QuantumSheep Stairs - Apostrophe (older game but I really dig it) Gravonaut - Nexus Game Studio (oh, how did this in here )

Jumples was by the fabulous Mr. Funkleberry!

bunch more games I'm forgetting too.
Gawd bless ya sir! I wish there were a million more like you out there
No. Seriously. I do!
Anyway, it's all subjective really. There are some fabulous games that just aren't my cup of tea, but are great nonetheless. My personal list (I expect cheques sent to Sheep Towers) would be:
Gravonaut Apostrophe Stockholm's games (All of them - Stairs, Rock 'n' Roll Football, Wounded Man... they're all unique and so well thought out and presented) Poodle Invasion by Nulo Grisly Manor - just because I love Joe to bits The Cat rides the Astrobus Juz and the missing guitar pics, - Juz - great little platformer with some nice twists KT Fright's games - cos they feature his awesome music! Mini Cannon and Zombie Drop by tshirtbooth - just because they're so well presented. Bumps/Running Wild by Utopian Games - full of character and good fun, most importantly. Asplosion - just bloody addictive
There are many many others of course, but these ones stay on my phone no matter what!

Tshirtbooth's list is spot on. I would add a couple that have gotten less attention be are very cool.
Matching Match. This is a very simple, but cool little game with a beautiful art style and even a retro 3D mode.

Jumples: Marvin the Meerkat. Again, simple to play and beautiful to look at. Nice music and great performance.
