File for Application Loader

TopShelfPancakesTopShelfPancakes Member Posts: 25
I have advanced all the way to the step "Waiting for Upload" but I can't find the file to choose.

After I publish a game in Gamesalad, where does the binary go that I need to upload?

Thanks,

TSP

When you publish the game i will prompt you where you want to save the file, once you get it, right click on it and compress it, an then upload that

    I'll try that out.

    Thank you!

might I suggest that you create a folder on your desktop call it... 2Up 2 ... and have your app download from GS there... so clean and easy to find.

When you publish your game does it go the the finished screen with all of the music right after you tell it were to safe your file. if not its not actually publishing and you prob have a problem with your provisioning or certificates. if it does there are two options at the bottom. one to open itunes connect and fill out your app info to get to waiting for upload and the other one is for once that is all done. in your case it is. and clicking will automatically open the application loaded and a finder window with your app. and then compress the .app preparing it for upload with the application loader.

    Still having problems:

I get the "Congratulations!" screen with the fireworks sound.

When I try to choose the file in the Application Loader, it has a .app suffix, but it is grayed out and I can't select it. Also, the app icon has a white circle with a diagonal through it when I look at it in the Finder.

    Thanks @ jonmulcahy

    Now I'm getting:

"Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate."

What does that mean? I followed the Gamesalad publishing guide.
