Attribute browser doesn't contain scene layers

Ive been going around making actor attributes into global attributes whenever I want another actor to access them for a while. Then I was using my laptop instead of my imac and for some reason that build had access to every single actor attribute via a layers menu in the attribute browser! its amazing even scnece gravity is accessable. both builds are .90 but this one feature makes them drastically different. Did I stumble over a preference switch somewhere that allowed this layers access, or why can I only access it on one computer's install??

    Are you sure you are not seeing scene attributes? There are Game attributes, Scene Attributes, and Actor attributes.
