    Sorry to hear that Darren!
It's really strange what's happening with the Appstore lately...it's not enough to have a good game (graphics & gameplay)...it's seems that we need to invest 1000s in marketing in order to see good sales

Bad times :/ Have you implemented iads? I will make sure all my mates check it out. Hopefully it will gain you visibility for further games like donut games achieved :)

Yeah we think it's our best game so far, i sent out the usual press releases to my 30+ press contacts with little to no coverage.

I must say i wont be releasing a game at that time of year again as i think it didn't help at all :)

Anyway onwards and upwards....i hope lol

The best game ever flying rockets, movable platforms, etc...

I guess now & days people like the things you put 3-5 days into haha.

Don't worry m8 you should really think about selling it if your guna put it free.
Then you'll have money for your next project(:

    Regards,
    BG

We had a couple of good sellers last year (our 1st year making iPhone games and using GS).

    Bumps sold 60k units

Red Ball of Goo over 20k units

You have to take the rough with the smooth in this job :)

@BG We won't sell RW unless it's a very nice offer as it's a great game to have in our portfolio.

That is unbelievable , what a shame that this game didn't get any exposure. Hopefully it will catch on now then you can switch it back to paid. I remember reading that "Trainyard" didn't take off until he made it free for a while.

Sorry to hear the low sales Darren, it was a bad time of year for release (I felt the backlash as well). Such a shame to see a quality title do worse then some of the crap on the App store.

Keep in mind, us who bought it, really enjoy it :)

I like the gameplay in rw, reusing the levels is very good how you can go back and forth through it and presents different puzzles.

the only thing i think could make this game better is if the hitboxes were made bigger because i miss a lot of taps and it gets rather frustration. a time limit and scoreboard would be nice too. even just an offline scoreboard would be fine.

Love it!! Hopefully it will climb the charts and you can mark it back up. It's a really
    Fun game.

Darren , Its a shame that such a good game dont sale ,

believe me when i say i feel your pain , my game Party Popper is not selling too , although it might not be at
the level of RW but still its good enough to hit the "whats hot" section for a few times ,
im thinking of making it free too , let me know if this action makes any good to RW .

RW is a great game from a great company .

That is such a shame, that was one of the BEST games i've played with GS thus far, very cute, and very Nintendo-esque quality!

Such a shame... any potential doing iads? or are you going to wait and see how it does first?

Just downloaded and reviewed. Such a great game and only $100 in sales? :(

Was it just bad timing or bad mojo on the app store? This game is top 10 material.

You could leak somewhere that your 12 yr old cousin did most of the work...That always gets the press interested! lol

If it helps all of my friends are downloading it(U.S). They love it and said you should make a sequel to it. haha. They said if they would have known the game was that good they would have bought it instantly. thanks

Also, what I have always been wondering is, who does the art for your games?

@utopiangames, I'm guessing RW didn't get featured. That seems to be a deciding factor in many games success. If you get featured on the main pages you are in for a huge sales spike, at least while it is featured and even longer if the game catches on.

I think if you keep releasing quality games apple will look kindly upon you and be more likely to feature your future apps.

I've only had one game featured on the main page and it was just in Japan, but even then it still sold $300 a day in Japan for a while.

    Good luck.

Woke up this morning to find it at #160 in US games (free).

We have Bumps and Goo linked in RW so fingers crossed we see some decent sales for those.

I will post some numbers today (1st day of sale we had over 2k units).

    @utopiangames

Congrats on the success so far with Running Wild! This game is awesome, and I can't wait to see it rocket up the charts further.

Also, I must admit, I probably spent at least two hours playing it last night. Can't get enough.
