  Jamie, all iPads (currently) have the same resolution.
  
  People put 'HD' after their game titles to distinguish them from the 'Standard Definition' that is any ipod/iphone without a Retina Display.

  It's a trend in my opinion. Helps to distinguish, people just say it to help differentiate.
