Accelerometer control Like Clumsy Bob

Hello friends I want to start working on accelerometer. And I want to use control like the clumsy bob

Can we do this type of control with GameSalad? Is that possible please let me know.

    John thanks for the tutorial I did this sample tutorial and it works fine.
    But my question is can we do similar to clumsy bob or doodle jump?

    Doodle jump character is continue jump and moving up side and user control with the accelerometer.

    Clumsy Bob character is continue jump and moving left to right side and user control with the accelerometer.

    So can we do that continue jumping and controlling our character similar to those 2 games?

    I'm still not sure what you're asking. but if you're looking for a doodle jump clone, do a seach, I'm pretty sure there is a template out there

    thanks for your answer sous-chef. I want to use control similar to doodle jump.
    Just instead of going up I want to move my character left to right with same control.
    Please provide me doodle jump template url. Thanks

    the only jumping templates I could find use left and right arrow keys which I'm assuming you just change out for accelerometer movement. (Not sure if it is the Doodle jump template you are looking for or you have that but not an accelerometer one). But anyway if this is helpful open New+ in GS and search 'endless'. Double click the 'Endless Jumping Scene' template.

    Yeah, I got this template but can't get the left/right Accelerometer to work.
    Please let me know if you have a solution.

    I made this over a year ago as part of my first game Z is for Zombie (click to see youtube video), but it is a demo on how to use the accelerometer for left/right/up/down movement, and allows you to calibrate it to the angle you're holding the phone:

    download and rename it to .zip to open it.

    here's what I said about it in 2009:

    only the survival and settings buttons work.

    Click on survival to see the game work without calibration. then click pause to exit back to the main screen to go into settings and calibration.

    then go back to survival to see the updated settings.

    you can poke around the settings, I also included how i turn off and on accelerometer control, as well as sound / music (but there are better ways of doing this, it was my first attempt)
