what does exempt payee mean and subject to backup witholding?? which do i need?

im filling my tax info for apple and what is an exempt payee and a subject to backup withold and which do i need?? please help thank you

    exempt payee basically means your up to date on your taxes. If not then your income from apple can be backhold there for subject to backhold
