hi there, i recently posted a small rpg style template, well i trashed that project and started it all over again!

heres the video!


this is my template of an RPG
this rpg template includes
the main character
the enemy
walls
on screen controls
attack buttons
health bars
enemy AI
attacking
and animations

thats what comes with this template it is fully noted everywhere! its easy to change and defiantly neat!
there will be future updates to this including a bag sytem and stats but they might come in another template as there templates not games!
this whole template and everything what you see inside is at the price of 150$
the reasons why such a high price
the time it took me to make
the notes in every part of code
the on screen controls
also description on how to make as many enemys as you want!
im a uni student studying in south korea doing a korean language course ( british born ) so need money to pay for it!
the amount of complex coding for the AI

so if you feel like you want to make an rpg game like zenonia or inotia then this is the template you will need! and just in case you dont think its worth it zenonia 1 had a download rate at 50,000-250,000 at 5$...!

so just say it one more time! this template is 150$

    the price is now lowered to 50$ for 1 week only!

    if you buy this you will get every future update free and a discount on all other rpg templates made by me!

    next update will include a zip file of rpg images to use with your new game!
    added enemies
    a stat menu with current level and xp to next level, with upgradeable stats!

    PERSONALLY, and this is just my opinion, but I think the price is to high. and I think you should offer up the template when the art is done. I know templates probably shouldn't have art anyways but it makes the buyer think the template is more complete. I think to be charging the same amount as darren and tshirtbooths completed templates that are AMAZING is a little much. This should be in no offense to you. The template is great. Just add some more stuff. Like for the main character to do some stuff. In my opinion the price is to high. Just me.

    well at the moment the main focus is the AI of the enemy, the next thing to add is graphics, making an attacking animation is all in the code with notes on how to add it and where to add it :) i made it with basic graphics to not make it complicated as i know that when someone makes a game with graphics your are a bit lost on where things are. i tried to make it more simple so you can see that the enemy is there walls on screen controls and everything i included in the notes to change size and place to your own adjustments, dont worry i dont take your comment offensively or anything! i understand completely! and im only 18 so new to this market! but trying hard to get through. im making the character have stats in the next update so it will be better like once you kill an enemy you gain so much xp etc etc, after i finish that update its all about the graphics, and i will make this package with two things 1 being the game with no graphics and 1 being with graphics!
    the character does move just doesnt look great on the recording xD

    so the reason why i lowered the price now to 50$ is because its very complicated code for the AI, but like you said graphics etc are not there!
    but give me the next 3 days and it will have much more but that being said the price will increase thats why im giving everyone a week to download first

    If you do take if offensively than this will make you think otherwise. I am 14. and 14 year olds don't have MUCH money so thats why I think templates shouldn't be that much.

    wait you've given me a great idea... for students age 14 - 16 then you can get this half price but have to prove a way of your age now the thing is its almost impossible to prove it online xD so i geuss cant be done TT

    It CAN be done actually. BUT i think your joking. anyways, how come template developers don't just make a game first with their template to show what it can do? Same goes for tshirtbooth and utopiangames

    i would be serious if it was possible but because there are millions of ways to fake it! then quite hard, well the reason i do it is because i want the template to be used as a template and not just buy this and you get free game! i want it to be used as to show you how to make things and an easy way to do coding for complicated things what show near impossible and to make a game its longer than making a template

    I get it. haha. I wish Gamesalad had a chat feature like facebook and skype. that would be awesome. WHEN IS 9.0 coming out??!!! Sorry off topic. Its a great template actually. I havent seen a game like this on Gamesalad yet also.
    SO its unique.

    again with this... all that is is a mix of the free templates and tshirts freee magnitude tutorial.

    i did listen i was letting this release as im making the graphics right now :) i have a 3 day holiday so i thought its okay to release it early and then just build up onto it :)

    how is it not? the health bar, buttons, enemys ,walls , and animations theres all free templates and demos for. And the ai is nothing more then determining magnitude and moving off that which there is a free template for two. Stop trying to make a quick buck and make a good game

    wow john just because you see some tutorials doesnt mean you can call other peoples work putting things together... the health bar well that actually works for all health bars theres not another way you can work with that, but tying it above the enemys head well thats easy but how do you do it john please explain if this is all just tutorials, and if i may add how did i get it to walk only Y and then X? why does it not just move diagonally to the player?? and why does it animate up down left and right when it is supposed to?? and how did i get the timed attack for the buttons? please care to explain? because no tutorial will tell you that

    No need to get so offense man, i wasnt tryin to be ass i was just saying no ones gonna pay 150 for that. If you actually use the search bar you will find tutorials and demos for everything you did. And again im not gonna be a ass and type all your rules out for what you did. If you want to sell that im not gonna blow your spot up and explain how you did everything, so relax. i was just stating the obvious. Good luck with it

    quick video update, this just shows basically some simple graphics i made in 10 minutes :) just to give it a better feel, also shows the enemy running away after getting low health!

    You all need to lay off of him. Every one here now puts template developers down now if their names aren't tshirtbooth utopian games hachiko, ect. I mean really. not everyone is trying to make a quick buck. yes 150$ is to high. but that doesn't make it bad.

    Your pipe template was in beta stage the WHOLE time you were selling it. and you had no problem with it.

    A: They help the community all the time so people know there getting soemthing quality, we dont know him. It has to do with reputation not name which is the same for any product you sell

    B:thats exactly why its free now,

    C: i never once said anything about it being in beta, i said its basically a combination of alot of the videos in the cookbook.

    the price is now going to be 60$! for the whole template and everything you see :) thats a better price for it i think! it will also help me pay for the things i need :) and guys seriously? why does everyone compare to tshirtbooth? yes he is very good at what he does! but you dont have to be harsh to someones work? if you knew how hard it was to make then you would never say hey you just stick tutorials together... its really rather silly....
