Double wide scene: Camera pan and scrolling help

Hi, I am working with scenes that are 960 wide for some levels and was wondering how I could get the game camera to automatically pan once around the scene at the beginning of the level so that the player can see whats going on. I also want the player to be able to touch the screen and slide their finger around to scroll the scene and look around the level whenever they want, but without interfering with other behaviour that require you to touch the screen (eg the player touches the screen to shoot, so I don't want the game to shoot every time the player touches the screen just to look around).

I'm not 100% certain, but you could try having an actor with the 'control camera' behaviour in it.

then move that with your finger. Think 'a magnifying glass' or something.

Hope that puts you in the right direction!

    QS :D

Hey thanks tshirt! I was planning to make a menu system soon as well, so you just solved two problems at once!
