Yodapollo said no guarantee and certainly not a release announcement but it would be a good idea to have an app done by tonight if you intended on publishing with 0.9.0.
So as usual for a GameSalad Answer we got a who the hell knows kinda answer.

I need 1 more hour to finish my game, if 0.9.1 din't come up today, I am not going to wait
it's coming as soon as it's done. rest assured it's going through it's QA process, and you don't want to rush that. the more bugs they find, the less problems you will encounter when it comes out.

The new feature makes it easier to search. I thought 0.9.1 was going to be released soon, so I held off on launching the update. I didn't realize it was going to take so long for GameSalad to be updated.
Part of me thinks, "Maybe they're holding off the update to add Game Center support or in-app purchases." Yet, I also realize that the big focus for this update is Mac App Store publishing... so I'm doubtful that Game Center or in-app purchases will be in the next update.
Something should be done about the custom loading screen though.

Maybe they are adding those standards. (how long has the wait been?)
Guys, Someone posted about not being able to submit and he got a yellow reply that told him to reinstall the GS viewer!!
When I read that, I figured that if I would remove the GS viewer and reinstall shortly before the next version comes out, I'd be not happy about such advise.
For all it's worth, the release might be quite a ways off .... but without any communication, all we can co is speculate.
Based on how little they reveal, and that reply earlier today, I guess that the new version will not surface this month!

wait, what? what do you mean you "figured if i would remove the gs viewer and reinstall..." you think that means it's not coming for awhile? I know for a fact it's been in QA for about 2 weeks. i think the remove/reinstall is just a quick way to make sure the application is fresh. I've been giving that advice since 2009.
I really don't think it has ANYTHING to do with the impending release of .9.1, it's completely seperate.
My guess is based on how the company releases news My guess is based on the quality of the news My guess is based on the release announcement/release ration as seen in the recent big picture post
Based on all of that and the post reply I've read earlier, my best guess is that the release is nothing to celebrate just yet.
I am still starting new apps and plan on releasing them in days and weeks to come ....
Ether way is ok with me because I only use 10% of the features GS has so I'm ok with how it is now but the next few weeks will be interesting ones, that's for sure!
