I am making an realistic spring function, which is when a ball fall on it, it bounce really high and the bounce direction is depending on the facing degree of the spring.

I am now using a method which is when the ball touch the bouncer it accelerate to the direction i want for 1 sec.
But the effect comes out is not realistic. It looks like flying, not bouncing.

And once if i want the bouncer rotate itself, the ball bounce the same direction.
Any suggestion for me?it drive me crazy for few days. Thanks!

Take out the accelorate on the ball and raise the restitution on the spring higher.

The maximum of restitution is 2, i want stronger bouncing.

What you can do is use Hooke's law in order to make the spring work perfectly, then you can (like John said) edit the restitution, etc.

You can up the restitution on your ball too. You can prob also use magnitude to change the restitution when it gets close to the spring that way the ball is not always super bouncy.
