  I took a look at the demo's listed above and I have one question... seriously, is there no way to use the iPhones built in keyboard? we really have to use a made up keyboard?

  Yeah unfortunately for now GS has no access to the built in keyboard. And I don't actually know if they plan to set it up any time soon. Typing is really not a huge priority in gaming. And that is what the primary use of gamesalad is. Although yes it would be nice to have access I would rather they work on other things like GameCenter.
