I got Screwed

So I made a template for a guy who said he would pay me $20. I made him the template and sent It to him. All the stages working up to It he said he liked it. Then I sent it to him, he said he hated It and never responded to my emails again. what can I do. Any Help?

    Your basically beat. You never send the project file till they send you the money. You send them a video of the finished template and if they like it they send you the money and you send them the project file.

    Sorry it happened to you :( If you wanna tell us his name we can chase him and throw sticks and stones at him ;)

    Well just as an F'u to the guy you could give the template to the whole community and maybe someone can beat him to publishing. :)

    But yeah that definitely sucks. chock it up to a lesson learned man.

    This is probably the wrong way to go, but I am 14, so I think like this. Give all of us his email. and we could spam him with hate mail til' he pays

    the best way to deal with this is:

    A) Forget about it ... the ship has sailed

    B) Remember for next time!

    Basically, 20 Dollars is a small price to pay for a lesson that taught you as much as this one hopefully did :)

    Does he have a website? I'm still for posting name/email - if he wanted a GS template that makes me wonder if he is on the forums, you should warn other users if so.

    yea online deals are never safe unless its a legit transaction.. not some word of mouth thing... not to be an ass but common sense should of kicked in on this one :/

    Heh, Twitter limits a person to 140 characters.

    That and I'm exhausted and a tad flat today, picking up a bit now, though :)

    My pestering about the guy having a website was more just about getting some of his details if possible. I've chased down money that way in the past when I've had issues.

    This is excellent and reasoned advice.

    Can you do a game with the template? Publishing a game might work better for you in the long run.

    Keep pestering him about it. Give him 48 hours and if he doesn't pay then let us know who it is and we'll do our best to NOT help him.
