DOs and DON'Ts with Gamesalad

Hello everyone, in the next few weeks, I'll be getting my Mac and iPhone and cannot wait to try Gamesalad. I have been researching, reading, watching videos of Gamesalad before I start. So I would like to ask you to share your experiences. May be this thread will also help other newbies like me. What we need to DO, and What we shoudn't DO? That way, this might help me to somewhat prepare when the day finally comes.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Do not corner!
atleast thats what the ladies tell me
welcome to the farm my friend! have a seat there, have some coffee
good luck on your apps!
1. I would remember to search for an answer before posting for help. Best bet is google the word and use the site name to limit your searches to just Gamesalad (IE: particles site:gamesalad.com). (The search feature in Gamesalad.com is close to useless imo).
2. If you use a template you have purchased off someone or downloaded one of the many available for free ... take some time to 'make it your own' by changing the gameplay, moving and adding new actors and most importantly add your own artwork.
3. Enjoy Gamesalad for what it has (don't fret too much on what's missing) and don't wait around for hours on end for an update to the software or posts from the GS team .... okay this last one was really for me ... just kidding it actually was kind of fun in a weird way.
Anyways .... have a great time, look forward to your work and to help if I can.
2) avoid constrains and timers, prefer interpolate
3) don't divide by zero:)
* Quit and restart GS every 10 minutes
* Makes games that you enjoy playing
* Don't let poor reviews get you down to much
* Don't let poor sales get you down
* Don't give up
* Backup your work hourly/daily
I had to learn it in the hard way...

Just be careful what you copy and paste, and try and 'know' what you're bringing into your own stuff from other's stuff...
Good luck to you!
Work hard, and have fun!
You will get a white screen if you start your project again and nothing else.
I don't think, they "fixed" it, so I wouldn't even try :-)
Maybe it is working now, I don't know, because I didn't try it after it messed up my build and destroyed a weeks's work about a year ago.
