Problems with timer trigger

alright i have a system set up for tempo where users can change the tempo but when they change the tempo variable game.tempo it does nothing to the timer why is this? i have it set up also to only work when a boolean attribute is false and when you press the enter button to change the tempo it also changed for .1seconds from false to true

I think i remember reading back in .7 days that the timer doesn't work with a variable time, it doesn't update. i believe codemonkey had a workaround posted somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

it is an integer attribute but let me see if it works if i change it to a REAL attribute
