SpiderBall coming soon ....

Hi. Heres a look at my new game 'SpiderBall' which i will be submitting over the weekend once i've tweaked a few things. The game was inspired by Darren's 'Red Balls of Goo' and I have shown him this game 1st to make sure he had no problems with me using the game idea ... Which he didnt, so without further ado....

Also i'd like to say a big thank you to tshirtbooth who was extremely helpful in resolving a few major last minute issues that cropped up. Thanks mate

    Honestly looks amazing, great job...Cant wait..

    I think the icon could be 100x better though. Maybe its just me though.

    But great job, I will be looking forward to it.

    @arton, i kinda agree, i think the icon could be better but i think it does seem to stand out though. Im always at the weakest with icons. ha

    I hope the likeness to a popular comic book hero doesn't cause problems. I wouldn't think so.

    1) How does one control the ball?

    2) Is it one of Spiderman's balls?

    1. Just left and right hotspots to move.
    2. Nope, but if it looks like it is then he should see a Dr :)

    Good point, those would be some abnormal balls for Spiderman...or any dude for that matter.

    You can have a promo when they are available but i cannot give you a template. This is an adaption from Darren's (Utopian Games) platform template which is paid for. It wouldnt be fair on myself or Darren to give it to you for free, they have some great templates so i suggest you check them out over at;

    Well done Beefy, it looks awesome! I have to agree about the icon though... bevels and outer glows make it look a bit cheap.

    Hmmm! Is that coming from an artist outlook though? The majority who could potentially like the game arent artists and therefore need something that just stands out ... which i think it does and looks quite good on the device. I really dont know though, i personally am not mad on it!
