And while I'm thinking about it the same would go for images you find on google images. If you can't draw them you need royalty free stuff, some sites have free stuff but most will need you to pay.
Wait; is the question if you copied the EXACT graphics, or if you were making a similar game that also happened to use wood and stone objects?
If it's the latter then it's legal; it's been done many times, long before Angry Birds - however if it's the lesser then everyone here already hit the nail on the head.

I read somewhere it costs them €400,000 to develop Angry Birds so I think it's more like they wouldn't mind spending a few more to make sure their IPO is kept properly and put to good use and sue anyone...
