Hey guys, I thought I'd post a quick video of my new video game/art studio set up! I am pretty excited about this so I hope some of you enjoy it.

I have also decided to do this full time (freelance artwork and video games), so if anyone out there is interested in artwork, please email me at freakzilla210(at)yahoo(dot)com and I will be sure to get right back to you. You can also check out samples of my artwork right here if you'd like.

If the embed doesn't work for the site its: garylovestodraw.wordpress.com and I have a link dedicated to iPhone/iPad work. Here is the video and I hope I get to hear from all of you:

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Eaap9G5t9oo?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Eaap9G5t9oo?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

Does anyone else want to share their setup?

    nice, I have studio envy

....my setup isn't really photo worthy... a sofa, a laptop and a very messy sketch pad...oh and a cuppa tea normally

I have exactly the same chair!

It's great to have a dedicated workspace unfortunately, after a year of "working", there is soooooo much junk all over the place ... books, batteries, usb drives, wacom junk, music gear, mice, scribble papers, DVD's, keyboards, cameras, wires, wires, wires because for the four computers and and and ...

Nothing like a bit of caffeine to keep you working through the night...

I've been working for 6 days straight, and I can't figure out why I can't get any sleep yet.

I can't believe you have a purple comb! That is just so wrong ... it ruins the whole picture!

    Update!
After additional pondering ... I am impressed in what great shape the telephone cord is! Rare find :)

Nice studio! I like the picture on you iPad. Did you design that on your iPad? What software did you use?

Thanks CowTech.. I did do that image on the iPad and I used a program called iDraw... I'm still trying to get used to that one as I primarily use mini draw for ipad..

goliath, NICE. Love your chair. Do you use a stylus with your iPad? I've been using my finger, but am thinking of getting a stylus...

SlickZero, LOL. That's all. LOL. :)

Yes I use a pogo stylus for the drawing although I do seem to switch from finger to stylus.

if you have an ipad, what programs do you like?

I use Sketchbook Pro, which is okay... haven't tried any others yet. I'm used to Illustrator, and wish I had it on the iPad :)

Hehe. Sorry for dirtying up your thread, goliath, with my lame brand of humor. I've had that picture for a while, and have been dying to use it somewhere. Anyway, I like the simplistic setup, just a laptop and an iPad fer testin'. Very conducive to productivity. And I must know, does it still have that new desk smell?

I didn't think it was lame at all.... I laughed pretty hard actually!

And yes... it does have that new desk smell... My wife and I put that thing together and we were up until like 3AM (which is not a good idea considering I have 4 little ones that like to wake up REAL early).

I bought a container of pledge as well just to keep it nice and tidy!
