iPad images in game

I know apple has a problem if you use an image of the device in a game. I had set this up, and I'm wondering if I should drop the ipad image for a generic one.

    I had iPhone's iPad's and imac's in one of my games and that made me 5 grand last month and Apple didn't say anything.

    how where they used? as control options like this or in the game itself?
