iPhone 3G sim in an iPad?

Anybody know if you can put your iPhone 3G chip into an iPad to use it forthe data and not have AT&T charge you extra???

    Good example for Taco Stand that folks here don't have answers to my questions.

    It works with some hacking, but you have to physically cut the sim card as The ipad uses a Microsim you also have to make some settings changes

    Thanks Jon! In other words just pay for 3G data when really needed on my iPad 2
