Transfer Project to Different Computer?

Hey, I've been working on a game on my Mac Mini, but I recently got ahold of my old MacBook. I want to transfer my game project from my Mac Mini to my MacBook, but it's not working. I transfer the file, but it doesn't open. I tried USB Port but once I get the file to my MacBook it doesn't open.
ANy help would be great, because otherwise I have to restart my project...

    I never had problems transferring projects. I work on two computers and use USB flash drives, dropbox, mobileme storage and other methods and never lost a project.

    It looks like it got corrupted somehow.
