I am going to be reinstalling mac os x snow leopard because my computer is having a few issues which is caused by having the OS installed and being used for a while.

I need to reinstall my whole entire OS which will delete EVERYTHING!

what do I need to backup/save?

I have certificates and stuff from iOS provisioning profile.. can I just re-download them later from the ios provisioning profile? or do I need to back them up from the current os.

I considered re installing a few weeks ago. If it wasn't for the Apple permissions, profiles, xcode ...
I probably would have done it but the frustration to get those set up was enough to lose the Linux sickness ;-)

but can I re-install and download all those things again from iOS provisioning profile? or do I need to back them up/save them before reintalling?

You should be able to export your complete Developer Profile from xcode...never tried it but the facility is there.

I have exported the complete developer profile from xcode and install it in another computer with success!
So it should work… Buy a Harddrive and run time machine also to have all your stuff.
    Cheer.
