How much do you pay your Graphics Designer? (or for your Graphics)

I found a site that has Graphics designers that average about $30 per hour.

What you guys reackon?

    Its really based on their quality but honestly I would get a fixed fee cause if they do hourly they are gonna charge you for changes when they didn't get it right from your request the first time. its very open ended by simply agreeing to an hourly rate.

    My rate is $50/hr.

    But yes a flat rate is more fair for both the Designer and client.

    But I'm going to raise my rates to 50$ after the summer.
    I rarely work by the hour (only does this if things are needed within 24 hours). I usually work per project.

    Yeah I suggest finding someone who will charge you based on the project, not an hourly rate :)

    Priced based on project is ok if the spec is very clear, I generally give a number of hours needed as a maximum and hope it is within someone's budget. Then if it takes time I am honest and charge less :)
