I'm editing Deep Blue Apps shootem up Template.

Changing the Soldier Character all together, sprites for left and right movement.
Changing the backdrop and bridge he stands on and also changing the enemies.

Gameover screen and title screen.

Is this a good price?

Sounds like a really good deal, if the quality is acceptable. I would charge at least the double of that price:) Guess he doesn't pay taxes of his freelance work.

He requested $200 at first. But I said i'm on a tight budget.
He then offered me the price of $70, I said deal.

I just have to refer him on the forums to you guys! He does great vector Graphics.

Usually contractors will charge by the hour. In Australia the guy who I was thinking of using was charging $30 and he is a pretty good artist. I guess it depends how many hours work it will take and their skill. I would say acceptable level for a decent artist here would be $20-$50 per hour. If he's good at pixel style animation please refer him on to me!
