HELP! (with art!)

I want to create things, but I don't have photoshop, I have gimp, but when I open it up, I cant use the paint tools, Please Help!

    Try Inkscape. I like Inkscape better anyway.

    Also, try using a different Subject other than "HELP!"

    Maybe use something like "Help with GIMP!"

    there are lot of stuff there you can use.. But make sure they are royalty free or that you pay the proper license to use those images. Also they're are a lot of designers here that can do great work for very good rates.

    actually for free I highly recommend sumopaint.com

    if you download the free wacom bamboo dock (even without having a drawing tablet) you get a nice stand alone version and also livebrushes, which is again great.

    sorry I'm a noobie at this, so wait all of these programs are completely free?

    yes inkscape is free too.

    which is why you should read the getting started sticky. it has to do with conduct on the forums.

    you'll get more replies if you start a thread under the jobs section. most people don't go into threads looking for artists.

    also, post some sample work, that will get even more people interested.
