sound won't play

I have a timer that generates actors at a given interval. In that timer I have a sound to by played. For the life of me it will not play. I have tried subbing other sounds to see if it was a problem with the file to no avail. Any suggestions?

    If by 'generating' you mean spawning, put the sound in the actors that are spawned.
