Helpful suggestion on getting my apps advertised?

Can any of you Pro's out their have any helpful suggestion on how to get my app's noticed by the world so I can sell more?

    I would recommend writing a good press release and sending it to those sites. The more content you provide them the less work they have to do to at least list it. On my next game I think I am going to provide some banner art along with a good well written press release. I'm hoping that combined with no GS splash will get at least some listings if not legit reviews.
