I get your point Okimoki and i respect your opinion. But like you said Even if i release something unique or new in apps store other developer may release a new and better game with the same mechanics with my game after a week. The thing is with indie dev like me who have a lot of stuff to handle everyday (work/family/personal/gamedev) that one week is quite important actually. Imagine if i show a gameplay video of my game which is halfbaked right now, a team of 3 people can actually finish it within a week with better interface and additional stuff. In two weeks its gonna be release while im still doing the remaining 20-30% of my game. Anyways good luck with your entry i know its gonna be a hit.
Share, then you can enter it in this contest. Even if its not 100% it certainly sounds it. Enter a video and if its as cool as you say your could certainly be in the running to win some very cool prizes. Especially since Deep Blue apps offered up prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place...
This game evolved into something completely different which I'm still working on and will release at a later date. For this submission, I kept it as the eskimo survival sim.
As I write this its 12:01 in the states, so I hope stormy will have mercy on me!
but anyway, here is snowmen escape (working title) version 0.2. A physics based puzzler where you have to reconstruct the dismembered alien snowmen!
I'm planning to have 80-100 levels and a lot more polish and a bigger backstory to it, but hey my first try was pretty good! Vote for the worlds only snowmen alien building game ever!
Oh dear. didn't realise we had to post a vid in here. Here's mine:
Fits in to the 'as finished as it will ever be [by the deadline date]' category which I think most do, which is annoying because I've had no time to work on it at all and was really enjoying where it was going. I'll definitely be finishing it though.
Sorry for not posting earlier...its been a hectic family weekend.
Good to see a good selection of entries and thanks for taking part, it makes the effort of starting it very worth while.

Look forward to seeing your vid later today...
@DreamLab, I'll do a voting post later in the week. Wednesday probably.
I'll do a 'big shout out' on each of the TOTB2 post in a minute to check everyone that took part knows to post their vids here. As the more entries we have the more fun the voting will be.
:-) exciting times...
Oh and @RH whats the game called for judging purposes?
Heres my entry. In the menu scene the slide down part is where the sound options and such will be. I plan on adding a ton more before submitting to appstrore, but havent had as much time to work on it as i had planned.

Here is my awesome game!
Planning to have 30-50 levels and 3-5 worlds.
To give a little prospective, I'm about 2% done.
Vote for me! :P

good luck to everybody!
Most of my levels are on paper at the moment and I need to do a fair amount of graphic work still, but I will get their eventually.
This should be a fun little platformer which has plenty of levels spaning:
- The Surface
- The Caves
- The Pirates
- The Lost World
- The Alien ship
I hope you like it and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE vote for me!!!
