Black outline around icon

When I upload my 512 icon via GameSalad for publishing, it replaces the transparency with black.

Do I need to replace the transparency with the color I want?

    Double check and make sure your saving with transparency. I had that issue a few times. It was because the file was saved with a white background.

    Icons on the app store can't have transparencies, if I remember correctly. The app store icons are converted to .jpeg, which of course, has no transparencies.
