Hi All.

Im sorry if this isnt the right place to post my question and if not perhaps you could advise where i should post.

This is my first time in asking a question.

My question is to do with the SWIPE in gamesalad which i watched from tshirtbooth. however im noticing that although the swipe works , the simply button press effect also works. I've created the correct rules for the swipe method however why does it also respond to simple touch and not swipe motion only. am i missing something ????

Any Advice would be appreciated.

Check out a demo I made that is close to what you want....although I can't get it to do exactly what I want right now...:: http://gamesalad.com/game/19217

hi am running into this same issue, I followed Tshirtbooth's video, now I have two actors one small size playing a sound on touch pressed inside that actor and another full screensize which detects swipes. however when I press on the character a couple of times, a swipe gets detected. How can we separate the touch inside the small actor and swipe on the larger actor?

    any help is appreciated. thanks!

hi thanks that helped, I actually made it release +/- 25 then do ( swipe) otherwise do (simple touch action).

but I have another issue, its seems even if I "click" once on the right end of the screen and then I "click" on the left side of the screen its getting detected as a swipe then two different touches, same the opposite way as well. this is making the swipe action pretty un-reliable.

    anyone ideas on that.
