I would like to know how difficult it would be to create a clone (with many changes, of course) of FaceFigher which is a free iPhone game.

Is it possible with the Gamesalad system?
Is it possible to utilize social networking functions with Gamesalad games as well?

As an MMA Fight Promoter I'd LOVE to re-create this game with some twists on it, even if only to become a fre marketing tool for my promotion.

Can it be done? If not, please explain why? If so, give me an idea as to how?

Thanks folks.

It's certainly possible. We've actually looked at creating face-to-face fighting games in-house, and it's relatively straightforward.

Basically, you're going to need controls that, when pressed, move the fist or foot actors into the scene, and then back again very rapidly. Pressing block could render you invulnerable for a short period of time.

One major challenge will be determining the opponent's attacks, but this could probably handled fairly easily using the "random" function with timers.

Changing the opponent's appearance based on damage taken is fairly easy, using a hit-point system; as hit points decrease, change the image / series of animations.

Overall - it's a challenging project, but it could certainly be done in GameSalad.

yeah, should be pretty easy to do but you cannot use camera taken images from the camera roll like you can on the real game.

No, not from within the game itself, other than just a link to facebook/twitter/whatever, which would require the Pro version of the Creator software.
