Will save attributes get erased on update?

Hi guys,
Just wondering. If i make a game with save attributes (players can save score) then release an update to the game with more free levels, will there previous scores get erased when they update?

    not as long as you use the same keys.

    I got complaints saying peoples progress was deleted and I used the same keys.

    Nope, progress definitely doesn't get deleted on update with the same keys.

    If they deleted the app from their device and then updated the app in iTunes and synced it back on their device, their user data will be lost I think.

    Yeah, that's true but that's with any app, if it's just a standard update it won't affect anything
