I know this is for gameplay reasons, but the top down view seem a bit of a waste because the isometric view looks amazing. Still looks impressive though!

Bloomin' amazin' isometric work. Love it. Hours of pixel pushing. WIll you do a fully iso game next? Please....

    Good luck!

Every scene is generated from Cinema4D, I wish GS could handle 3D in order to build 3D games :)

I'm thinking that the name might be a bad idea...

This is crazy, the same story with the word "Doodle" or "Dash"!

I will take the chances and see what happens, if they managed to trademark the word "Ville" then Apple should reject my app, right?

I don't know if Apple gets involved in legal issues like that. I think they're only responsible if Zynga sends a take-down notice. Some really questionable material can make it through the review process, that doesn't absolve the developer of liability.

Your game is named TrafficVille... one word... similar in style to the Zynga games. Should Zynga have the right to such usage of the word "Ville"? I don't know. It's an interesting debate, but one I would avoid.

I'm not a lawyer but I'd think that words like 'loserville' have been around a lot longer than Zynga. And a quick Google of the word trafficville shows it was used in an article about how bad Texas traffic is from 2003.

So, at least you'd have a little ammunition if someone raises a stink.

Edited to add: It is a sharp looking game, so best of luck on sales!

This is absolutely ridiculous to trademark a word. Why not trademark the word Farm instead of Ville? Gotta hate those facebook greedy developpers XD

I guess it would be safer to call it TrafficCity, but I doubt Zynga cause you any trouble since it's not in any way a FarmVille type of game.

I was thinking the same, the game doesn't have to do at all with FarmVille so I don't see why I won't be able to use this name.

I will let you know if they will contact me regarding the name :)

Cheers and thank you for your feedback.
