Sparky's parallax scrolling template
Hi guys.
Got a little template here for you.
2 different ways to do parallax scrolling.
Scene-1 shows you how to do it using the scene camera controls to offset the different layers
Scene-2 shows you an easy way using velocities if you are doing constant scrolling.

Yeah...the info contained in the template IS on this forum. In fact....if you search hard enough, you will find that I have posted how to do parallax both using the camera to control the speed, and using actor's speeds to controll the layers, myself.
But in my experience, people want to have the code "at hand" to see how it all works.
Case(s) in point, since I posted it 4 months ago, people have bought it....and who am I to judge that?
I was also posted at a time when about 5947584793 a day asked the EXACT same question about how to do parallax!
All my templates for sale via this forum are not about "making a game". I don't make templates that are ready to go once you chuck in a bit of artwork and make some levels.
I make templates that (hopefully) make you think about how to make the gamesalad engine work for you in ways that might not seem immediately obvious.
