iPad Apps vs iPhone Apps

A game I plan on starting, Tomato Potato: Wilderness, will either be for the iPhone or iPad. I don't think I'll be able to fit it onto an iPhone screen, so that's why I am considering making it for the iPad. I don't know the pros and cons for selling it as an iPhone app or selling it as an iPad app, so I'd like some advice.

    General rule of thumb:

Iphone: more sales, harder to get visible and lower tier pricing is average.
Ipad: less sales, easier visibility and higher tier pricing is average.

Very basic but in the majority of cases true.

    Cheers.

Seeing that I am not good at all at getting visibility, I'll go for the iPad version. I can make bigger, more complex puzzles with that bigger screen, too.

    Interesting (but true) analogy!

    11oclock,
My apps benefit from the larger screen size of the iPad and the sales are much better than the iPhone siblings.
