What should music be in?

I made my music file in a .ogg, but GS recognizes it as a sound effect.

What should music files be in? .MP3? .WAV?

    Mp3 for music files. Wav files would be huge.

    Sound files .ogg can be more versatile but are only good for short clips.

    Importing wav or mp3 gets converted for audio. Ogg is used for sound effects

    You can also convert your music in i-tunes to aac (.mp4) format, and have a great deal of control over how it converts it.

    YOu can choose a bit rate, and if you want mono or stereo.
    Better than letting GS convert a wav imo.
