Been banned from GS Forum - what's going on!

I have had to post this SOS message from my iPhone, I have gone to log into the GS forum today only to be blocked with the following shocking message:

Your ip address is banned from this forum for 11 months and 4 weeks. The person who banned said the reason was keeps spamming the forum with a link to his website after repeats to stop.

Now I'm sorry but I have never spammed this or any other form, I hVe emailed gs direct to try and get this mistake cleared up but does anyone else know what the he'll is going on?

    Just kidding mate , i've seen your posts for about a year now and none of what i saw was spam messages .

    Im pretty sure there has been a mistake and will be fix soon ;)

    why do you banned the IP?you should just banned the user
    also if he knows about computer(swood), he might be able to use other IP to log in

    If you ban the ID then they just create a new ID. Banning the IP requires the individual to do more to get access again. (i.e. go to another computer. Not easy for most people).

    It's a lot easier to create a new login vs a new ip
