How long till app update gets approved?

I uploaded my binary update about 8 days ago, and still says "waiting for review"
I have a critical update that I can't post until this one gets approved...should I wait till the current one does, or should I just reject current binary and upload my new update?

    Its taking longer this week, I'm on 9 days still no news :(

    Check the developer portal to see what the average time is.

    I bet the Memorial Day Weekend really threw off their reviewing and they're backlogged for a while.

    That's the problem with holidays. Devs work, reviewers don't.

    Ha! My app is under review. So 9 days.
    It's a holiday here in The Netherlands.

    Let us know when it gets approved. I just submitted an app.

    It was under review at 16hrs and approved at 19.20hrs CET yesterday.

    Yeah for some reason it is taking longer. I have 2 updates and a new app Hopefully these will all be out next week :)
