do Updates require new distribution profiles?

sorry can't seem to find the answer on the forums, only half answered threads...

Do i need a new distribution profile for my app if im releasing a update (fixing bugs, adding content etc.)?

    no you use the same one. If you can't find it or it's expired, you can always redownload it from itunes connect and install it
