Do I need .9.4 to upload/publish for Apple?

Trying to publish my latest game. Provisioning profile and all that other stuff is in place and ready to go.
But when I publish through GameSalad all I get at the end are the options to "Test" and "Show in Finder".

I have not updated my GS to .9.4 yet.

It seems like you used an ad-hoc provisioning profile.

Photics I am pretty sure I got the PP right. How can I check?

Calvin. Cause I am scared that everything turns to Sh%$@ after what happened to the last update
and cause my Game was almost finished and its working great that I just didn't want to take the risk.

you can make a copy of your file, download 0.9.4, if that does not work, change it back to 0.9.3

The fact that it has a "Test" button on the fireworks/cheering page suggests that you're using an ad-hoc profile. Maybe you clicked the wrong one.

I had lots of problems with 0.9.2 to 0.9.3... but 0.9.4 seems OK... aside from that silly "enable resolution independence" issue. You could run into problems by not upgrading. You might run into a weird server bug that's no one has seen, simply because you're using older software.

Thanks to the both of you.
I will now update to .9.4.
    It's better be good.

    One more thing Photics:
    I used jonmulchy's instructions.
Created new app ID (auto generate the bundle seed)
Created new provisioning profile based on that app ID.
Downloaded to computer and double clicked to install.
Went to itunes connect and created new app.
Opened GS and published selecting the new profile.

Thats why I think everything should be fine.
Do I have to download anything else?

You should always update to the latest version when it comes out, because no matter what version of software you have on your machine, it only gets published with the latest version.

OK. One more time for stupid (Me).
Do I have to update to .9.4 in order to publish to Apple?

Cause for testing on my iPhone the older version worked fine.

Yes, testing on your phone is just using the viewer. When you publish the app, no matter what version you are using, it will be complied using the latest, and sent back to you

Stupid here again (Last time, I promise)
What you're saying is that I could use the older version.
It will just use my latest version?

It's OK if you want to yell at me.

For example, right now the server is on .9.4 ( the latest version). If you still had .8.6 or .9.0 or .9.3 ( it doesn't matter), when you click on publish, your going to get a .9.4 package back.

    OK. Now I got it.

Just updated to .9.4 and I am happy to report that I have no Problems. Hurray.

BUT I tried to publish using my new profile and still only got "Test" and "Show in Finder".

Sounds like an ad hoc profile. Or...Did you install the new Xcode beta? That won't let you publish if you are testing it out.

I have not installed the new Xcode beta or anything Apple just released last week.

I never build an ad hoc...don't even know how to do that.

    Problem solved.
And, of course, it was my fault.
I created the Provisioning Profile in the Apple Development section
but never created one in the Distribution section.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help.
Well at last I updated to .9.4.

Here are some screenshots and thanks again.
The game is called "Pinball Mermaid".
