Need Help Mega Man Style transitions in Game Salad

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting on here so yea I am a total newb at Game Salad hehe! I want to make a game that has those kind of Mega Man transitions between scenes , you know where Mega Man is stuck in mid-air or walks between game areas. How would I go about setting that up in Game Salad? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Oh... you mean when the door opens he walks into the boss battle?

    I do something like this in BOT... with the shops. Basically... I have an attribute called "TANK-entrance" or something like that. I also have attributes called "Pause" and "Fade" TANK reacts differently while those attributes are in effect.

    So, that could be expanded for something like Megaman. If doorway is true, then turn off the controls, open door... wait... and activate pre-determined movement.
