Changing image for set time, and then revert back

Hi, I have a animated loop actor. I want it to change to another still image upon a collision, wait a few seconds and then revert back to the original animation.

I don't quite seem to have it working, I'm using a timer on it but it still only flashes to the new image for a split second before reverting back to the animated loop. Any ideas? Cheers

    Anybody? I'm still stuck with this. Do I need to spawn a new actor over the top? I would prefer to just be able to change the current actor to a diff image - but it just flashes briefly and resumes the original animation loop.

    How is your logic set up to do the switch?

    If you have an animation you will have to have a condition in the animation rule that will go false when you want the image to change otherwise the animation will override it.

    Thanks tenr, yes I do have an animation so that must be my problem. I'll try this out later when I'm back home.
