Code signing failed
Jesus Wept!
how can I fix this this?
I don't even know what i have, leave alone what i'm supposed to get... its a nightmare.
code signing failed... failed... failed... i've removed, i've replaced, i've replaced, i've removed.
I have a few non gamesalad items on the app store but wanted to do a bit of prep with GS but game salad doesnt want anything to do with any profiles that already exist.
anyone have a definitive apple/gamesalad reference to help get a preview working?

Code signing error
Code signing failed. Make sure your provisioning profile,
developer certificate, and WWDR certificate are installed.
i shall try removing everything again.

I am having the codesigning failed problem as well. I tried deleting the certificates in my keychain and downloaded the same again and installed them. It still doesn't work. Can you list step by step the action you took to fix this issue please? Do I have to change anything in my Xcode? From start my Xcode environment is set on release (not debug).
I have done all others such as creating appID on the provisioning portal etc. I have all three certs..WWDC, Dist and Dev. This is driving me insane.
I want to get on to making my next games
I too am having this error message. You say to go to xcode > projects > project setting > etc, but what if I don't have an initial project to work on? I have completed my app in GS, have the appropriate certs, (I'll list them; "Iphone Developer; My Name", "Iphone Distribution: My Name", "Apple Root CA", "Apple Root Certificate Authority", "Apple Worldwide Developer Relations Certification Authority"), and have 2 provisioning profiles in my organizer, (one doesn't work {A signing identity matching this profile ...} ), and a seemingly working "Current Distribution Certificate", a dev and dist. provisioning profile on my apple dev account, and a working app ID. I know, it's alot of stuff. I still don't know what to do. Help?
thanks
A related question: I'm just trying to test my app on my iPad (and am not ready to submit it to Apple) -- I *do* have to walk through this process to do that, right?
Thanks!
"Code signing failed. Make sure your provisioning profile, developer certificate, and WWDR certificate are installed."
I have done everything and it worked for Development compilation but not APP store compilation...
I opened the xcode organizer. Found the provisioning profile there. Valid. The dev and distribution certs are there.
Frustrating thing is that I could compile a week ago. But not now... help.
1. Opened Keychain Access in my Applications folder.
2. Chose My Certificates from the left panel. There were several versions of my iPhone Distribution and iPhone Developer certificates.
3. Sorted by "Expires" and used right-click to delete duplicate certificates for each Distribution & Developer except the top 2.
Now, in XCode, there are only Identities showing in the Developer Profile pane. Publishing again from Gamesalad now works properly.
